Joomla Tutorial - Editing Page Titles

The following is a tool to change the default Page Title to a custom Page Title- this is a great tool for helping in search engine optimization.

1. Login to your administration
2. From the top menu: 'Menus' > (Choose the menu where your link is)
3. From the Menu Item Manager click on the title of the link
4. On the right side of the page click: 'Parameters (System)'
5. Enter the title in the 'Page Title Field'
6. Set 'Show the Page Title' to:
• Yes, if you want the title to show on the actual page
• No, if you do not want to show the title on the actual page
• Neither of these settings will effect the search engines
7. Click 'Save'
